when_i_go_deafMicrosoft has patented a new way to "watermark" digital downloads in order to track illegal usage of digital audio files.
Basically Microsoft has found a way to scramble and scatter DRM tracking within the bytes of a digital audio file without it being audible or manipulated. Yikes.
