Borracho Is Kickin' Back, Watching The Mobats Fly (12/3/2007)

A rather chill mix from Borracho for yesterday's drive. I quite liked it, in spite of the post-blizzard freakout driving that I had to contend with on the way:

• The Format - Time Bomb (I love this album... Though I thought the implication of being a time bomb was a bit foreboding.)


• Helen Stellar - Io (This Time Around) (Ah, Elizabethtown... This song sounds perfect driving on a cold winter night.)


• UNKLE - Price You Pay (The new UNKLE album is one of my favorite from this year. Hell of a lot better than Never Neverland)


• Weird Al Yankovic - I Love Rocky Road (*snort* Ah, when Al and armpit farts walked hand in hand...)


• Maroon 5 - Makes Me Wonder (Acoustic version of the Maroon 5 from one of the BBC comps. I haven't really listened to the new M5 LP. Still not sure if I want to, but this track wasn't too bad...)


• Wilco - Pot Kettle Black ("You are so oblivious to yourself". Wow, good summary of most of the people I dealt with later in the day. Eerie.)

Yeah, that pony seems like he'd be good form of intimidation for anyone stepping out of line. "Does it bite?" "OH yeah. Yeah yeah." ;)
